Plasma Therapy is based in Rome, GA and is working to deliver convalescent plasma to COVID-19 patients in Rome and Northwest Georgia. We are also working to create an open source guide on how this process could be replicated.
Historical Science for a Novel Disease
Convalescent plasma has historically been used as treatment and prophylaxis with infectious disease and shows promise as a means to reduce critical complications associated with the COVID-19 disease. It may take a year or more to create a safe and effective vaccine, according to experts. This stopgap measure could save lives in the interim.

Our goal is to not only serve our immediate community, but to provide a platform that can be replicated by other communities across the nation and potentially across the world. Our process will be documented and frequently updated.
